Järnflinga 2 tone blue is a happy variation on the Järnflinga range of ceramics. The blue glaze creates playful patterns across the ceramics, making lines and movement on the surface, each piece slightly different and unique.
Maria Lacey ceramics are hand made in Sydney. Each piece is unique and each shape a little different. The glaze let's the iron creep out of the clay, giving the surface a mottled rustic Scandinavian look. This is a basic method of producing decorative ceramics, utilizing the way iron changes colours when fired.
