About the pattern, from designer Åse Öjbro
"I visited Dalarna many times as a child and never forget the impressive Falu mine. It was fantastic to hear the stories about Falun's importance for Sweden's prosperity.
Nowadays, the mine is instead a world cultural heritage. Dalarna is of great importance through its abundant Swedish cultural heritage.
For me, the Swedish soul is in the red cottages, all the folk games and the Swedish crispbread. Dalarna is a comfort for the Swedish soul.
